The recalled product is Waterfront BISTRO brand Frozen Raw Shrimp EZ PEEL SHELL & TAIL ON, packaged in a white flexible plastic pouch with multicolored labeling. The UPC is 0 21130 13224 9. The shrimp was sold in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Colorado, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming.
The shrimp may be contaminated with Cesium-137, a radioactive isotope. This contamination poses a potential health risk, classified as a Class II recall by the FDA.
