Terms of use

Informational service

RecallRadar provides research, data normalization, and candidate matching for informational and operational-review purposes. It is not legal, medical, safety, or compliance advice and does not guarantee that a catalog is free from recalled products.

Verification required

Recall notices, affected products, lots, dates, and remedies must be verified with the issuing agency or manufacturer before safety-critical, sale, removal, notification, or compliance decisions are made.

No government affiliation

RecallRadar is independent and is not affiliated with CPSC, FDA, NHTSA, USDA, or any other government agency.

Data products

Government source records are public information. Fees cover RecallRadar's collection, normalization, enrichment, analysis, and packaging. Unless separately agreed, purchased exports are licensed for the buyer's internal or product use and may not be resold substantially as received.

Project scopes

Custom research and catalog-screening scope, inputs, outputs, schedule, retention, and fees may be confirmed separately in writing. Results can include false positives or false negatives because source and catalog data can be incomplete.

Availability and liability

The site and services are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of completeness, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable deliverable, where permitted.
