What fields work best?
UPC or GTIN and model number produce the strongest matches. Brand, product title, manufacturer, supplier, and category still help when identifiers are missing.
What sources are included?
Depending on your products, we agree which CPSC, FDA, NHTSA, or USDA records to check. Each pilot records the sources and date ranges checked, the date of review, and any coverage gaps. Coverage is not comprehensive or continuous.
Is every match a confirmed recalled product?
No. Results are candidates for review. Exact identifier candidates are separated from name-similarity candidates, and every result links to the official notice so affected models, lots, dates, and remedies can be verified.
How is sample data handled?
For the pilot, scope and file handling are agreed by email before transfer. Send a field list first if the catalog contains confidential or customer information; customer data is not needed.
